The hotel was also one of the last temperance hotels in England and hidden in the fireplace of The Mayors Parlour restaurant is Priests Hole where priests used to hide for fear of being caught by the enemy soldiers. These, amongst other unique details, makes the Tudor House Hotel such a memorable place to visit! The rear aspect of the hotel overlooks the rivers Avon and Severn and the hotel is situated in the high street of Tewkesbury providing easy access to the many shops in the town and the Abbey. Accommodation is refined elegant and classical. Room are spacious and comfortable, exuding an essence of historical significance. Off the M5 follow the signs to Tewkesbury at the monument in the centre of the town topped by a stone cross turn right into the high street and travel approximately 300 yards to the hotel on the left.Parking is at the rear accessed by red lane.
