General Description: The Falls Of Dochart is situated across from the world-renowned Falls of Dochart, a true natural wonder. The Falls yearly attract scores of curious tourists and seasoned photographers who travel from around the globe to see them, however, for our guests this world famous view is literally on your doorstep. We offer many activities throughout this unique landscape, including golf, walking, canoeing and cycling. When thoroughly exhausted from such pursuits, we aim to provide guests with an indoor haven in which to comfortably retire after making the most of the great outdoors! Our traditional Scottish bar with open log fire is just the place to nurse a quart of your favourite malt. We source out delicious, local produce served in our indulgent hotel restaurant. Our 7 bedrooms and self-catering cottage are traditionally decorated and classically furnished. After a recent restoration, the hotel has been sympathetically modernized, retaining many original features, notably its original wood paneling and open fires. We hope The Falls Of Dochart will provide you with a warm and inviting sanctuary. The Falls of Dochart Inn is situated at Killin, in the heart of scenic Perthshire. From Edinburgh head for Stirling and follow the A8485 through Callender, Lochearnhead and turn right onto the A872 at Lix Toll garage.From Glasgow either head for Stirling as above, or go West and follow A82 around Loch Lomond to Cranlarich (this is where the nearest train station is) where a right turn onto the A85 will take you to Lix Toll.
