Muerren (1650 m) is a marvellous mountain village, public car free, rich in tradition and originally the home of settlers from the Lýｴschen Valley in the Valais. You can reach Muerren from Lauterbrunnen by mountain railway (BLM) or from Stechelberg by aerial cableway (LSMS). Mýｲren has 450 inhabitants.
