Situated in front of Villa Bottini, the former residence of Elisa Bonaparte, where nowadays numerous cultural and entertainment events take place especially in the summer. Its position makes it easy to reach all of the city's major sights and attractions, such as the Roman amphitheater, the Guinigi tower, the San Michele square and the main street of the town Via Fillungo with all its characteristic antique shops, on foot. The family-run property offers a welcoming ambience and high quality service in a quiet and peaceful location. This ancient bourgeois house was built in the second half of the 16th century in the historical centre of Lucca, inside the medieval boundaries. It is located in front of the suggestive gardens of Bottini Villa, once residence of Elisa Bonaparte. From the Residence Santa Chiara, you can easily reach all principal historical attractions of the old city in a few minutes and the beautiful sights of Tuscany. Completely renovated in 2006, the hotel is composed of the main building with all rooms with private bathroom and air-conditioning. In the beauty season, from April-September, guests can enjoy their breakfast buffet in the little garden. The Residence is situated in the historical center of Lucca to 1 Km from the railway station, to 20 Km from the international airport in Pisa and to 65 Km from the airport in Florence.
