Nordic Hotel Bellevue is located in the centre of Riga in an historical building that has been operating as a hotel since the end of the 19th century - originally called the Hotel Bellevue and later the Hotel Baltija. It was founded by a wealthy Latvian-German merchant by the name of Jekabs Bergholz and constructed in 1886 according to the plans of Latvia's most renowned architect, Fridrihs Baumanis. The building has been completely renovated in partnership with the construction company Marno J SIA.
