In the middle of the village is a large Lappish lake which provides a centre of much activity in the village. ýｫýｳlompolo is better known by the resort name Yllýｳ, which is also the name of the skiing fell shared between the two villages situated on either side of the mountain. Yllýｳ provides an excellent mix of unspoilt nature, peace and tranquillity, Lappish atmosphere, tradition and activities. Recreation:If youýｲe looking for guided holiday activities, then the hotel reception will be pleased to advise you about the wealth of options and programmes available.The emphasis in the restaurantýｳ menu is on traditional Lapp cuisine with reindeer and game occupying pride of place. The restaurant has a stage and dance floor and seats 350 guests.
