Situation right in the centre of the Southern Lake District, Broadview is the perfect base whether you are walking, touring or just after a break from the normal hustle and bustle of life. Start you day with a hearty Broadview breakfast. We cater for special diets on request and can provide packed lunches and even drying facilities if the weather has not been too kind.We look forward to welcoming you to Broadview soon. BROADVIEW IS TOTALLY NO SMOKING From the M6 take exit 36 and follow A590A591 past Windermere to Ambleside, continue through the traffic lights at Waterhead passing the Waterhead Hotel on your left. Broadview is prominently situated on the right of Lake Road directly opposite Hayes Garden World. Windermere is the nearest railways station. Buses and taxis can be taken from the station to Ambleside.The best place to park is a couple of hundred yards past us in the Low Fold Pay and Display Car Park near the Mountain Rescue Centre. The car park is free overnight from 6pm-9am. During the day, we can provide a parking permit for one car per room, this allows you to also park in most South Lakeland District Council Car Parks during you stay (subject to their terms and conditions of course). The Permit must be returned to us on check-out before 10am on the day of departure.
