The town of St. Paul's Bay itself is somewhat quieter than Bugibba although it too has plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and food shops. The old town still manages to retain a Maltese charm of former years. Qawra is an extremely popular resort yet slightly more laid back than its neighbours.
