General Description: Robert and John would like to welcome you to the Alkrington Hotel with its excellent central location with most of our rooms having a sea view. We are situated just 20yards from the famous promenade in Blackpool, only minutes from central Pier. Having such a great position in the resort means that you are never far from any of the attractions which are all within easy walking distance or if you prefer we have transport links for the buses and trams within 10 yards of the hotel ! So whether its nightlife, thrills, clubbing or just bagging a bargain in one of the many markets you are never far from the action ! Our aim is to provide guests with good clean friendly accommodation with a focus on style and budget to suit all accommodation needs, we have a mixture of 25 en-suite and standard rooms, whichever you choose you will enjoy our fantastic full English breakfast, licensed late bar selling brand name drinks, own keys for 24 access and hospitality trays. The rooms are spacious and we have a wide range from twins to groupfamily rooms. We also have a games room with a Pool table and slot and gaming machines available for your use. We are also able to offer information on the various attractions around the resort and offer discounted admission to various attractions so ask us for further information. In addition we also have a 60 seater licensed restaurant so that when you have had a great day out enjoying the many attractions that the resort has to offer you can then enjoy a wonderful meal in pleasant surroundings at a competitive price. We are situated just of Blackpools famous Promanade ! We are approximately 5 minutes walk from the central bus station, 15 minutes from the North and South Stations ( train) and an £8 cab ride from the Airport. We are situated very close to central pier , you can see it from the front of the hotel, and we are at the junction where Lytham Road meets the promanade. If you get lost ask for dirrections to the Manchester Pub we are opposite the pub !
