General Description: The touristic farm LE MACINE offers to you little suites and rooms with bath and kitchen in a pleasant homely atmosphere surrounded with a lot of green, an ideal place for people keen of art.The farm is placed in the locality named Bisarno: in this place, long time ago, the river Arno dividing into many winding brooks created a lagoon and Bisarno was the biggest island of that lagoon. Now the ancient lagoon is a big plain: the Ripoli plain where we can find traces of the past civilization as the beautiful Bisarno Castle and the SanPiero in Palco Church (XI century). The farm is near FIRENZE SUD exit of the Highway A1 (viale Europa area).The touristic farm Le Macine is in Firenze sud, only 4 Km from the centre of Florence. Its easy to get to the historical centre by bus.We offer some good dishes, using local produce.Very good breakfast, and dinner on request. From the highway A1 Bologna Roma exit at Firenze sud. Follow straight on to Florence and after 2km follow to Bagno a Ripoli. Follow the street 200 metres, and turn to your left, before and beside the Q8 gasoline station in viuzzo del pozzetto. We are at number 1.By buses from the main train station take number 23a in direction Sorgane, or no 33 in direction La fonte. Get off at the bus stop called Spagna in Via Ripoli. Walking go in the first street at your left, until number 1 of viuzzo del pozzetto.
